Frequently Asked Questions

A: Central Park Funland is an indoor/outdoor family entertainment center. Our 40,000 square foot indoor facility houses 7 rides, over 100 arcade games, billiard tables, party rooms, and a cafe for refreshments.  Outside, we have 4 acres of park that include 2 go-kart tracks, bumper boats, an 18 hole miniature golf course, 6 batting cages, and Water Wars-a water balloon midway game.  Additional information, including restrictions on our rides, is available at our Rides and Attractions page or Arcade Games page.

 

A: No, Funland is pay-as-you-play!  There is no entrance or admission fee to enter the facility.  We have TONS of great weekly specials and package deals to make your fun affordable.  You will, however, need a PLAY CARD to participate in our rides, attractions, and to get tokens for arcade games, billiards, or our batting cages.

 

A: Central Park Funland uses an advanced debit card system that gives you access to our rides, attractions, and tokens.  PLAY CARDS cost $1, and you may reuse your existing play card again and again and again!  Once you have purchased your Play Card, you now have to 'charge' your card with points or one of our other deals.  Remember, our Package Deals and Weekly Specials  are always your best value!

 

A: Points are used to purchase tokens, rides & attractions, and food and beverage.  A point is simply the currency used in the park.  Think of a point as $1 in value here at Central Park Funland .  Rides & attractions are 7 points each, or $7 per ride.  Arcade game tokens are 4 tokens per point, or 4 tokens per $1 equivalent, and are only 1 or 2 tokens per play.  Billiard and batting cage tokens are 1 token per point or dollar in value.

 

A: We accept all major credit cards and cash.  We do not accept checks for walk-in guests.  Business checks for group packages may be accepted with prior approval.

 

A: We have several Birthday Party Packages that are available here at the park, which typically include a private room for your party.  All birthday parties must be booked in advance through our Sales Department or online.  You may only bring in a cake if you have a scheduled event with us.  All other outside food and beverage is prohibited unless prior concessions are made in writing from management.

 

 

A: Yes! We are open year round; however, our hours will change according to season.  While our outdoor attractions and games are weather permitting, we have over 40,000 square feet of food, fun, and games in any weather!  The only day the park is closed is Christmas Day.  See Hours of Operation for current park operating hours.

A: No, we do not allow any outside food or beverage in the park with the exception of a birthday cake with a birthday party package. Central Park Funland has a cafe to take care of your food and beverage needs while at the park.

 

A: Yes, your Play Card can serve as the perfect Gift Card for Christmas, Birthday, or Thank You.  Play Cards can be purchased at our Ticket Booth or through our Sales Department. 

 

A: Central Park Funland was sold to a completely new ownership group and reorganized in November 2005.  We no longer honor the paper tickets for rides and attractions, or old tokens issued prior to this time.  New management continued to exchange tickets and tokens through June of 2007.  We apologize for any inconvenience or loss this may have resulted in to previous guests. 

 

A: You must be present in order to sign up for laser tag.  You sign in at the Laser Tag counter.  Laser Tag is first come, first serve.  Typically, you can sign up for a game of Laser Tag up to 1 hour in advance.
